THE FILMMAKERS

Jason C. Tyrrell Director
Jason began writing poems, plays and short stories at 13 and completed his first novel two years later. On the high school stage, he led the casts of Brighton Beach Memoirs, Macbeth and Someone Who'll Watch Over Me. He received his Bachelor's degree in English from Rutgers University. There, he discovered directing, first on the stage, helming critically-acclaimed productions of Glengarry Glen Ross and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, then on the screen, producing two shorts and a full-length film. To date, he has written six feature screenplays.
J.M.E. Provan Producer
With a B.A. in music from the University of Virginia and an M.F.A. in film production from the Florida State University School of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts, J.M.E. Provan has worked on nearly a hundred motion pictures, including shorts, documentaries and feature films. The Plunge, his 35mm thesis film from FSU, went on to win the Student Academy Award for Best Narrative Short. Saving Sophie, the first feature film he shot, continues to win awards at festivals nationwide. He now lives and works in New York City with his pet hedgehog, Beaumont, and an ample supply of jerky.
